Delta

Okay it's been a little while I know, things are crazy with wedding plans and such. Because Chelsie and I have such crazy schedules it's been hard to find a photographer that can fit with our schedule so we decided to save a lot of money and time by assigning myself and my tripod to handle the photography side of things. So this Presidents day we took a quick drive to delta to find some unique places to take some engagement pictures and some of her bridals. So far we're really pleased with the results. We found some pretty cool spots. One of them was this old school house built in 1893 so I grabbed a few snaps of that place. Here's a sneak peak.

A San Diego Weekend

I don't know why I'm posting this one really, kinda sad I know.

01/01/2009
With a last minute decision we drove 10 hours straight through the night to spend the weekend in sunny California and escape the dreary Utah winter even if just for 2 shakes of a persion kittens tale. It was nice, except each evening a thick fog would roll in preventing me from getting any "sunset on the ocean" pics. Guess I'm gonna have to go again!

Salt Lake Sunset

12/29/08

I made a quick run out to the marina at the Great Salt Lake just before the sun went away and caught some nice rays over the semi-frozen dried up lake. It was a little nerve-racking walking out on the slushy lake.

Here's a selection of some of my past photos. Enjoy!

Introduction

So my New Years goal this year is to be a little more adventurous, more camping, hiking, traveling, etc. And along with it all, work on my photography skills. So I'm creating this Blog as more of just a photo journal of all my upcoming adventures. I'm new to this whole "blog" thing and don't really know the rules, so I'm just going to make it up as I go.
A little about myself: I'm 23 years old and have lived in Salt Lake City pretty much my whole life. I love the outdoors and I love the Arts, I have a passion for photography and though I'm still just an amateur I still love to do it. I'm also quite a big fan of music and might mention a lot about that in my future posts. I'm engaged and will soon be married to a beautiful young lady named Chelsie and will be extremely happy to have her by my side on these adventures. I come from an amazing family who are all very talented and hard to live up to! I work for an online University and will shortly be attending school for graphic design, who knows maybe I'll eventually be able to make a website of my own! Anyways that's pretty much me in a nutshell, I just reviewed everything I just wrote and almost fell asleep because of how dull it was, except for the part about Chelsie, that was exciting. So yeah I promise once I start getting some pictures up and get going places it'll be a little more lively. And also just ignore my bad grammar and spelling. And also that's all.
