A San Diego Weekend

I don't know why I'm posting this one really, kinda sad I know.

01/01/2009
With a last minute decision we drove 10 hours straight through the night to spend the weekend in sunny California and escape the dreary Utah winter even if just for 2 shakes of a persion kittens tale. It was nice, except each evening a thick fog would roll in preventing me from getting any "sunset on the ocean" pics. Guess I'm gonna have to go again!

Salt Lake Sunset

12/29/08

I made a quick run out to the marina at the Great Salt Lake just before the sun went away and caught some nice rays over the semi-frozen dried up lake. It was a little nerve-racking walking out on the slushy lake.

Here's a selection of some of my past photos. Enjoy!

Introduction

So my New Years goal this year is to be a little more adventurous, more camping, hiking, traveling, etc. And along with it all, work on my photography skills. So I'm creating this Blog as more of just a photo journal of all my upcoming adventures. I'm new to this whole "blog" thing and don't really know the rules, so I'm just going to make it up as I go.
A little about myself: I'm 23 years old and have lived in Salt Lake City pretty much my whole life. I love the outdoors and I love the Arts, I have a passion for photography and though I'm still just an amateur I still love to do it. I'm also quite a big fan of music and might mention a lot about that in my future posts. I'm engaged and will soon be married to a beautiful young lady named Chelsie and will be extremely happy to have her by my side on these adventures. I come from an amazing family who are all very talented and hard to live up to! I work for an online University and will shortly be attending school for graphic design, who knows maybe I'll eventually be able to make a website of my own! Anyways that's pretty much me in a nutshell, I just reviewed everything I just wrote and almost fell asleep because of how dull it was, except for the part about Chelsie, that was exciting. So yeah I promise once I start getting some pictures up and get going places it'll be a little more lively. And also just ignore my bad grammar and spelling. And also that's all.
